Samuel Choi
Business Development, Operations and Finance
Samuel found and led aiM Group on business development and service quality across all business functions. Samuel is the founder and was the Head of Financial Services Practice of Crowe (HK) CPA Limited (“Crowe (HK)”) during 2017 to 2020. Prior to founding aiM Group and joining Crowe (HK), Samuel was the Chief Executive Officer since 2009 and co-founded Elmore Capital Limited (ECL) which managed a multi-asset class quantitative hedge fund. He brought ECL to become the Hong Kong office of Wolver Hill Group, namely Wolver Hill Asset Management Asia Limited (WHAMAL) in 2014. He co-built WHAMAL to a fund platform supporting fund managers with AUM of over USD1.2 billion at the time of his departure in 2017. Before starting up ECL, Samuel was the Chief Administrative Officer (Asia ex. Japan) of J. P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) overseeing the regional Risk Management, Finance and Tax. He also represented JPMAM as one of the board directors of China International Fund Management Co. Ltd., a Shanghai based joint venture. Samuel started his financial services specialization since his joining of Price Waterhouse Coopers. He retired from Deloitte Hong Kong audit partnership while he was the Investment Management Industry Audit Leader before joining JPMAM. Samuel is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant (Practising) of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and he holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honorary) in Accountancy, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Currently he is a member of the Education and Development Committee of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, and also a Guest Lecturer and member of the Academic Committee at HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education Senior Executive Academy. Samuel is also a Senior Member of the Young Executive Committee of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce.

Chris Ni
Investment
Chris has over 27 years of experience in the investment management industry. Chris’ career began in Taiwan as an analyst with the International Investment Trust Co. and subsequently held top fund management positions, including FAT Management Corp., ING/Aetna Life Insurance Co. (Taiwan). At Shin Kong Life Insurance Co. Chris managed a USD 40 billion investment portfolio and led the launch of the First Taiwan Hybrid Structure Bond which won two best deal awards in 2005 and “Best Financial Institution of the year” in 2006. Chris then joined Elmore Capital Limited (ECL) as the board director and senior portfolio manager, and led the investment team to manage a multi-asset class quantitative hedge fund portfolios. Prior to joining aiM Group, Chris was the partner and portfolio manager of Real Talent Investment Co. where he managed money with focus on venture capital investment and proprietary algorithm futures trading. Chris holds a BBA degree from the National Chung Hsing University and an MBA from Iowa State University. Chris had served as a consultant to the Taiwan Government Pension Fund as well as the lecturer at the National Taipei College of Business.
Jeffrey Lo

Jeffrey Lo has over 27 year’s of Global Markets experience in the banking industry having worked at a number of leading global banks in Hong Kong. Jeffrey has actively participated in currency and money market trading, market making and arbitrage activities. He was responsible for determining the transfer pricing policy and ensuring liquidity and full compliance of undertakings of the APAC treasury team. In addition, he has managed and was responsible for the funding and portfolio management in currency and short term interest rate trading instruments at ABN AMRO, Societe Generale, ICBC Asia and Natixis S.A.. Jeffrey is a UCLA 1992 graduate in Bachelor of Economic/Business major and now a full member of the Treasury Markets Association in Hong Kong.
